Opened by the Deputy Mayor

Today the Deputy Mayor of Brighton and Hove, Councillor Denise Cobb attended the first day of the Flower Festival at St Martin's Church, Lewes Road and was welcomed by parish priest Father Trevor Buxton. Also visiting were children from St Martin's Church of England Primary & Nursery School and their Head Teacher Mrs Smith.

The Flower Festival is on at St Martin's Church from today until the17th May. Entry is free and refreshments are available.

Viewing times are:

Saturday 16th May 10am - 4pm

Sunday    17th May 3pm - 6pm

Followed by Evenson and Benediction
