So lovely to see my teacher Mr O’Neal and Mr Shearstone whom I have fond memories of. Does anyone have news of Mr Joyce as my sister was in his class or Miss Hobden as I was in her choir for a few years?
I started at Cottesmore Primary in 1960, Edward (Teddy) Barham (top left) was Ida Barham’s son, she was a friend of my mother. Teddy had a younger brother, William, known as Billy, named after his dad.
Dad died in July of 1975. I met up with Peter McKeown a number of years ago when he was visiting from Australia. Peter Bone is a parishioner of St Michaels in Worthing [where I live] and before c-19 closed the world a beer was suggested by a group of us that included Paul Lewis!
G’Day Peter,
Good to see your post. Give my regards to all when you have that catch up over a pint in Worthing.
Peter Mckeown.
