Early 1970s class photograph

I found an old school photo of me in the early 1970s or it may be 71/72.

Sadly I have no recollection of anyone on the photo, or their names.

I would love to find out if anyone recognises themselves or any of their family. I lived in Horton Road from the late 1960s to about 1974, before moving to Birmingham.

Do you recognise yourself or anyone else? Please share your memories by posting a comment below.

  • I went to this school from about 1963-1967. I can’t believe I’m not in any of the class photos already posted. I will see if I have any and post them in.

  • Hi Christine – if we publish your pix someone will know. When scanning make sure it is large so that faces are clear. mybrightonandhove@gmail.com

  • I’m in the second row down, third in from the left in the light pink dress, I think I’m standing next to Lisa Whittaker who lived down the road from me. Melanie Blake as I was then, now my last name is Collie. Mrs Smith was an amazing teacher, she encouraged my love of reading. I recognise a few faces here.
