This lovely school photograph dates to around 1924-25. My late father, Frank E Read is sitting on the mat at the extreme right. I believe the teacher in the centre could be a Mr Pollard.

My Grandad George Harris (1905-1993) went to St Luke’s. I used to go swimming there on a coach from Rudyard Kipling Middle School (1971-1976).
Hello Alison you’ve jogged my memory. I used to go swimming there from St Joseph’s School. That would be in the early fifties. We had to walk!
