I never liked sport much and, if I remember correctly, I was only in the team for one game. I did get 19 not out though.

Hi Chris. Great picture. As for the date I suspect it might be summer of 1962. I left Woodingdean in the summer of 1961 and David Birch was a year behind me. I was great friends with him and my sister was a friend of his sister, Angela. She, was a great athlete and went on to a specialist PE college in about 1966. I was also in the same scout group as David, 23rd Brighton.
Hi Chris my best man, I was in the year above you and Mr Betts was my form teacher. He was a great teacher. I well remember Mr Haggard too. Hope you are well. We live in West Sussex.
Hi Paul, I remember you were in the same class as me in 1961 and Mr Betts was our teacher.
Hi Paul, Remember me? I was your friend in Selhurst Road and lived opposite you at No. 8.
We also used to hang out with Chris Dawson (whom I’ve recently met up with). I’m also visiting Mr Betts in Cornwall in October. I see you mention you live in West Sussex. So do we. Whereabouts?
How great to see Mr Betts in the photo. He later was my teacher at Rudyard Kipling school around 1965 1966. He would get us to talk about the news and knew I was an Albion fan so I was asked to talk about how they got on. He even gave permission for me to leave early one day so my Dad could take me to a big cup replay at Chelsea that evening.
I heard he lived in Patcham. Is that true?
