Collecting old photographs at Coldean Library
By Jennifer Drury

QueenSpark Books celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2012 as the longest community run book publishers in the country. The organization is currently collecting photographs of the city (past and present) for inclusion in a new online photographic collection it will launch later this year.

Do you have any old photographs (featuring the city) that you think may be of interest? They could be of your neighbourhood, family occasions, or special events in the city’s history. If so, why not come along to a special event at:

C oldean Library
Saturday 26th February (10am – 1pm)

QueenSpark volunteers will be on hand to scan your images, record memories and details about the photos, and return them to you. Other activities include a free talk from local writer David Rowland at 11.30am.

To find out more about this event, and QueenSpark Books, please contact Sarah Hutchings, on 01273 571710, or email: sarah@queensparkbooks.org.uk
