I remember quite a few christian names but sadly have no memory of surnames in most cases.

I can remember a former Downs County lad by the name of Tony Dengate. He transfered to Fawcett Sec Mod in 1954 so this would be a bit before this photo was taken. I never went to the Downs so I doubt if any of the people in this photo would know me, but maybe Tony’s name will ring a few bells.
Seems a small class for the time – could it have been a choir? I don’t recognise the teacher and the only one I do know was Jeffrey Jenkins.
