Class photograph mid 1950s

This is a class photograph taken at St.Nicolas School, Locks Hill from the mid 1950s.

At least two of the people, myself and Terry Jackson, lived in Mile Oak. I presume all the children in my class were born, like me, in the academic year 1945/46.

When you enlarge the photograph you will see the names I know. Can you identify yourself or anyone else? If you can, please leave a comment below.

  • Although not in this photo I recognise 2 of the girls. Front row 1st left sitting is my best friend since starting school with her. This is Susan Turner and I am sending a copy of this to her. 2nd row from left standing is Gillian Covey. They both lived in Hurst Crescent as did I back then. Sue now lives in Lincolnshire and we write to each other now and again.
