What a surprise to see this picture after all this time.J ohn Maurice was my older brother, he was the Mayor of Southwark from 1992-3. He died of a heart attack three weeks after leaving office. My class had its picture taken in the same room, the school was very well run by headmaster Mr Hook and by Miss Watts from 1955. Happy days indeed!
Omg. This is just unbelievable. Have a similar photo where I’m also on it! Know the faces well & was friends with Tessa Kent – she lived up the road from me (I lived in Queens Rd not far from Brighton Station) & my Grandparents down Trafalgar St. I now live in Hamburg/Germany!
