  • Why don’t they make the Astoria a music venue? It has all the qualities of being a top venue like the Astoria in london. Is it going to be used for anything decent in the future?

  • I believe the Astoria is owned by ‘Yes No Productions’, the company behind ‘Stomp’.  Perhaps they are planning something for the Astoria, who knows.

  • I heard that Yes/No owned it, but there are also rumours that Mama Group (Barfly parent company) has grabbed it.

  • Remember Saturday morning cinema and the great sound the Wurlitzer organ played as it would start. Wish they had returned to the best cinema.
