My Aunty Clara (Buttner) had a tea room called The Old Cottage Tea Rooms in this property in 1927. I have four old postcards dated about that time, one showing the inside of the property as a tea room. There are beams in the ceiling with lots of horse brass hanging from them. Is there anyone in the village called Bond Evans?

My parents once owned the Old Cottage during the 1950's; we lived there as a family and I recently found a photo of the cottage with my parents outside. I was about 3/4 yrs old and remember my days in Patcham Park and the village fairly well. 50 years on I am now hoping to find a property in the village to buy.
