"This is the Dorset Arms at the corner of North Road and Gardner Street and it was where the Brighton lesbian group used to meet twice a week in the early 1980s. I really loved going there. There were always new members every week and we would do our best to make them welcome. You see we understood how much courage it took to make that first contact because I suppose we had been in the same position ourselves at some point."
