Making the most of it
By 'Robert'
I have always had a soft spot for Dyke Road Park. Even though I live close to Hove and Preston Park, I think this park has more character. It appeals to children and adults with various amenities like tennis courts, bowling green, gardens and a childrens' area.
The café is a favourite where I can enjoy a coffee whilst overlooking the rose bushes that have been built within a hedge maze. In the summer, it is always green and lots of work has gone into the garden design. It is a small park that the locals can make the most of - I certainly do!
