A shop retailing architectural salvage
By David Sawyer, illustrator

With a wealth of tradesmen practicing a whole variety of crafts in the town it's no wonder that there are many survivors from their heyday. Here's a shop retailing architectural salvage. It offers mantelpieces, spiral staircases, there's a collection of balconies. At the back there is a coach house. The ribbed floor suggests that cattle could have been kept in here and their products retailed locally. There is in fact a shop, next but one, that was a dairy.
