When I get round to it, there are many pictures of the hurricane in my collection. Having the time, these will be scanned and some will be contributed here. There are also pictures of Council and Gamble employees moving the fallen debris in early 1988. There are also some dramatic pictures of fallen Beech trees in Stanmer Park.

I've also got loads of pictures because I was unable to go to work the following day and just toured the Preston area with my camera. I will go through them again and submit the best for others to view and hopefully this will provoke others to do so, likewise enabling more of us to see a far wider selection of photos taken at the time than is presently available.
