The most lively area in Brighton

I really like walking in the North Laine. I think it is the most lively area of Brighton. It's always crowded. The shops are very funny. You can find things you don't expect to find anywhere and I found in the Laine a French shop. In this shop you can find videos, French films, French records, French books, and books to teach French. I heard a very, very old singer, a French singer, and I thought "My goodness, what is happening here?" and I was very surprised.
