"Daring Hearts": Gay and lesbian memories
By Linda, lesbian activist

"The cliffs out at Ovingdean, by St Dunstan's, for some reason had a special attraction for lesbian visitors to Brighton in the 1950s and 1960s. The book 'Daring Hearts', which gathers together the memories of lesbians and gay men from those decades frequently mentions this place as a spot for quiet picnics."
