Royal Pavilion
Stuffed rats
By Jessica, schoolchild
"I first visited the Royal Pavilion with the school, and I liked the kitchen best, because of the hugeness of the building. We were told the 'Martha Gunn and the royal butter' story, and we saw some stuffed rats, which indicated that the food wasn't that clean. Really, the best thing is the postcard I saw of it being an operating theatre in the First World War. It was very gory - somebody taking somebody's appendix out!"
