The post-card view of Patcham Fountain here was taken sixty years ago, and makes interesting comparison with the views from the same angle in the 1920s and 1960s.
Looking down Old London Road from Ladies Mile Road there seems to be a gradual transition from the old village to the new. The houses on the right by the lamppost are reproduction "Regency" Style.
