Beef and dairy herds

Patcham Court Farm had a substantial herd of beef cattle, some of which are seen here grazing on a downland pasture.

Part of the Friesian dairy herd can be seen feeding on hay during early Spring.

  • Lovely to see these photographs. My father, Syd Flint, worked on this farm during the 40s, 50s and 60s. No machines for milking in the early days, so didn’t see much of dad as he was always working.
