I think it's a scandal how the Victoria gardens have been turned into little more than a Council Rec. I can remember the lawns, cut in stripes, and the flowerbeds full of colour. Now we have the scar of a muddy footpath, a swamp in the wet & dustbowl in the dry. How many more events will they hold there? Sometimes it looks like a travellers' site. Really shameful.
