Growth in the 1960s

In the Domesday Book of 1086 the manor of Patcham Court had a population of approximately 1,750 people.  This made it one of the largest settlements in the county.  By 1801 the population had dwindled to 286.  The development of modern Patcham began in the 1930s.

This nostalgic tour, produced in January 2003 by regular contributor Martin Nimmo, illustrates the growth of Patcham in the 1960s.
