I remember this cottage much as in this 1912 photo - still there and occupied in the 1940/50s. If you want to locate its position, you are facing west with the bowling green on your right. The pond is behind the trees to the rear of the cottage. Behind the man with the bucket you can make out the entrance area from Somerhill Road where the scented garden on the left and the tennis courts on the right are now found.
