d) LAWN MEMORIAL PARK, Warren Road, Woodingdean: Developed on 9.5 acres of Warren Farm land in 1962, the Lawn Memorial Park has gravestones laid flat to preserve the external appearance as a park and to allow for easy mowing. The park opened on 1 January 1963 and is now the principal cemetery in Brighton for new burials. It includes 311 interments removed from the Quaker's burial ground in Rifle Butt Road in 1972. {123,126}

Comments:

Thank you for these pictures of the Lawn Memorial Park.
My parents are buried here and I don't get the chance to visit their graves very often.
