The construction of the Rice Pavilion is progressing well as today's photographs show.  As the structure grows it is increasingly creating an impact on the library environment and people are stopping to ask the artists about its conception.  Of course this is just what the artists of the Edible Construction Company hoped for, as it gives them the opportunity to explain the ethos of the project.  Interestingly, the Italian for rice is 'riso' which also means laughter!
