The Rice Pavilion, being constructed by Emilia, Chris and Guyan who are the artists of the Edible Construction Company, is really starting to take shape.  As today's photos show, one of the familiar 'onion' domes is in place.

The artists, with their volunteer helpers have to push on now to make sure they are ready for Saturday 11th August, which is launch day. Of course as the installation grows, so does public interest and the artists stop frequently to talk to visitors about the project. These discussions are an important part of their intentions to raise awareness of issues surrounding the value of food in our society.
