It is launch day for the Rice Pavilion this Saturday August 11th and Emilia, Chris and Guyan, the artists of the Edible Construction Company, are working very hard on the final stage of the installation.

The completed Pavilion will be on show from Aug 11th-18th. This is a stunning piece of work and although the photos in our galleries here are interesting, this installation has to be seen 'live' to appreciate it properly. It continues to cause a great deal of interest with library visitors who have been keen to find out how the idea of a pavilion made from rice was conceived.
