Photo:Palace Pier Theatre, c. 1910:. In 1901 the landing stage and pier-head pavilion were completed, the latter containing four large minaret towers, a concert hall and rooms for reading, smoking and dining. In 1910-11 the concert hall was remodeled as a theatre and cafe. The theatre was demolished in 1986 by its then owners, the Noble Organisation, who replaced it with an amusement dome.
