Emilia, Chris and Guyan of the Edible Construction Company have reached the final hours of the construction stage of the Rice Pavilion.  The project is world first and a monumental attempt to raise awareness about world use of food resources. It has certainly created a great deal of interest and discussion amongst library visitors.  It has also caught the attention of passers-by who can view the installation through the glass front of the library.

There are just the final adjustments and additions to be made and then the space will be cleared and tidied in readiness for the launch tomorrow, Saturday August 11th.
