By Jennifer Drury
The Mayor of Brighton and Hove, Councillor Mrs Carol Theobald, hosted a luncheon on September 27th for the biggest gathering of Sussex past and present civic leaders for 25 years. The aim was part of the work to raise the City's profile and boost Sussex-wide tourism.
The event was organized by the Sussex Mayors' Association which was founded in 1936. Last time such a gathering was held was 25 years ago when Cllr Mrs Theobald's husband Geoffrey was Mayor.
