Photo:Royal Pavilion and Gardens, c. 1914: A bandstand and chairs are arranged on the eastern lawns of the Royal Pavilion. The lawns were subsequently levelled in 1921-23, and small ornamental pools, tropical ferns and a miniature balustrade were then added.
