Contributed to Letter in the Attic by Beryl Fenton

From the Letter in the Attic project

Beryl Moppett was born on 6th August 1926 in Wiltshire and moved to Brighton at the age of 2.

As a child, she lived first in Balfour Road and then in Brigden Street.  She has contributed a number of her school reports to Letter in the Attic.

She attended Stanford Road Infants School, then went to Balfour Road Junior School and returned to Stanford Road Junior School for 6 months.  The first report comes from this period.  She then went to Brighton Intermediate School for Girls in York Place, where the second series of reports were written.

I am very pleased with Beryl

From Brighton Intermediate School for Girls:
"Mathematics - I am very pleased with Beryl; she has now attained the stage when future rules need not worry her. This is entirely through her efforts."
