Postcards of Peter Booth, 1907-1918
Peter Booth is a collector of postcards of Brighton and Hove. He allowed the Letter in the Attic project to scan a selection of cards, picking out the cards which had the most interesting writing on the back. 22 cards were selected, of which two are shown here. The first of the two cards above shows the home of Brighton inventor Magnus Volk.

The postcard immediately above shows the Mayor arriving for the opening of St Ann's Well Gardens, Hove, on Empire Day 1908. The message on the back of this card is below.
13th July 1908
"My Dear Sister
Many thanks for letter & little B, it is very pretty & I am wearing it. Can you find your Uncle in this group & it looks like Aunt too... Goodbye - love from Madge"
