A levitating 'Soapbox' preacher

While watching the 'Soapbox' preacher on the lower promenade in August 1962, I was amazed to see him slowly rising in the air. I thought "Has he been called?"

The answer was, that some lads had taken hold of his pulpit and were lifting him up. The preacher was completely un-fazed by this and continued his sermon, whilst smiling benignly at his congregation.
