  • I was a pupil there from 1965-1970 and I am trying to work out where the photo was taken. The blazers never changed by the look of it, but I believe in my day we had horrible heavy sports shirts in a Blackburn Rovers style quarter pattern which we wore all year round.

  • The square jawed crew cut character with the ball looks a lot younger than I feel now. The back row Ress should be Rees. Sadly Paul Barnard died many years back, as far as the rest I lost contact and have no info about them. If anyone needs photos from this era send me an e-mail.

  • The photo of the rugby 1st XV was taken in front of the pavilion at East Brighton Park.

  • I attended the old Building School in Hanover Terrace from 1949 until 1954. I would be interested in making contact with any of those still around the Brighton Area. I have seen Mick Poole and Jimmy Corrigan in recent years as we mus all be in our early seventies.

  • In reply to Bob Carden’s note above, I was also in the same class as Bob. Yes, we are in our early 70s now, I will be 72 this coming June. I have made contact with John Wallace from our class and am still in contact in fact. I am not in the Brighton area anymore, but in Oxfordshire, where I have lived since finishing National Service (plus an extra year) in the RAF in 1961. I hope you are fine Bob, as I am keeping well. I seem to remember that you lived in Hove / Portslade along the Old Shoreham Road area in those days. My e-mail address is vic.bath335@btinternet.com, it will be great to hear from you.

  • I think that the 4th from left in the back row is Bill (William) Thwaites (who died a year or so ago) and not Roy Brown.
