90th anniversary of the end of WWI

These are just a few of the many Remembrance Services held throughout the city this week, on the 90th anniversary of the end of the First World War.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Fourth stanza of ‘For the Fallen’ by Laurence Binyon (1869 – 1943)
