North Laine

Now lined with boutique shops and cafes, the North Laine was once the industrial centre of Brighton. After the Second World War, the whole area went into decline as manufacturing moved out to the Brighton estates.  The North Laine Community Association have their own website - it is very much worth a visit and you can see it here.
