Selected photos from a set of about 100 photos from World War 1, belonging to Frederick George Flude (1895-1934).
FGF served with the Cyclist’s Battalion of the Royal Sussex Regiment throughout most of the war, though towards the end he transferred to the Queen’s Regiment, West Surrey. He was a postman when he joined up, and his service number was 1890 (and later T/208056 when he was with the Queen’s Regiment)
Many of the photos have no captions; some have pencil captions on the back. Most of the photos appear to be taken on the south coast of England.
