The Mudita Trust

On Sunday 20th November a Thailand Flood Relief event took place in Hove Town Hall. It was organised by Surapee ‘Mudita’ Karnasuta, who was born in Bangkok, Thailand. Her charity, The  Mudita Trust is a non-profit, non-sectarian and non-government UK registered Charity which funds secondary education for underprivileged and abused Thai village children.

Very much a family day

Mudita, and Peter Rust Festival Director, collaborated with local businesses to present the event. With food, classical Thai dancing, music and handicrafts it was very much a family affair with over 350 local people attending. The Mayor of Brighton & Hove Councillor Anne Meadows, and her Consort, Tony Meadows, joined Khun Suksauat from the Thai Embassy, to support this worthy cause.

All proceeds to the Thailand fund

All proceeds will go towards Thailand’s Urgent Relief from devastating floods, and many people involved gave up their time to volunteer and help out. If you would like to contact Mudita about donating further for the Thai Flood Relief then please visit her website www.muditatrust.com
