"There'll never be another"

We all know the practice of conferring honorary degrees on celebrities. But this week, while the degree ceremonies for Brighton University were being held in the Dome, some enterprising individual decided to award Max Miller his own very special honours.

He certainly should have had an honorary degree in his lifetime, so maybe this is the closest he can get.

Max always said “There’ll never be another” – how right he was.

  • My Dad would have been 85 on the 29th July, he loved Max Miller who was his favourite comedian. Whenever we used to watch the new comedians in the 70’s he used to say “Well, they learnt from the guvnor didn’t they”, referring to Max of course. My Dad would have loved to see this so on behalf of Dennis Clarkson born 29/7/29 died 16/8/87, hats off to a great comedian.
