A soon to be famous face

Brighton concert_party
Royal Pavilion and Museums Brighton & Hove
At the beginning of the last century, Brighton boasted many entertainment concert parties and pierrots. These troupes gave their performances to deck-chair seated audiences on the beach, in small booth theatres, pavilions and bandstands.
This form of popular entertainment was central to the seaside experience. Many well-known variety performers learned their craft in this environment. The photograph here is of a very successful Brighton concert party. Can you spot the famous face?
