Different people - different cultures

“I’ve lived in Brighton all my life. I think Brighton is great because there’s always loads to do, and loads of different people and different cultures. I have lived in the Phoenix Community for 18 months, it’s beginning to feel like a proper community and the centre is terrific. It’s a very children orientated estate. It’s right in the centre of town. I prefer being in the centre of Brighton, especially being disabled, as it’s easy to get to places.

There’s lots I like about Brighton: the touristy stuff, all the shops, the sea life centre and it’s only ten minutes to the Downs. I like to go to Devil’s Dyke on a sunny day and see the wildlife, gliders and people flying kites. They are all symbols of people being happy and enjoying themselves. I also like being on the seafront between the piers on a bright sunny day with loads of people. That’s what I love about Brighton you can go somewhere really busy or go to the Downs and chill out in the sunshine.”
