An escape from Brighton
Stanmer Park feels far enough away from the centre of Brighton to feel like you have escaped for the day, yet it is only a short bus journey from the town. Walking between the lodges at the Lewes Road entrance you have the choice of heading towards the village, manor house and the tearooms, or turning left towards the woodland which is particular beautiful when the bluebells are out.
Something for everyone
On an average day, the park is full of dog walkers, joggers and students from the neighbouring University of Sussex all enjoying the wide open spaces. Whether you fancy a long and energetic walk or finding a quiet spot to sit and relax, Stanmer Park has something for everyone.
