Don't judge a book by its cover

“I think my best place in Brighton has got to be Pierre’s Cafe at Richmond Place. It’s right next to Artworker and the Old Steine. From the outside it looks really greasy and really grim, but they’re open in the evenings and you can go in there and get a greasy breakfast at 10 o’clock at night.  They are so lovely in there, just really friendly. It’s such a lovely place to be in and a really nice space. It’s got to the point where we exchange Christmas cards, and they are not doing very well so hopefully they won’t have to shut. It does look really grim on the outside but it’s really nice on the inside.”

  • I agree, the guys from the office go there a lot. Very friendly and good food at good prices. Highly recommended.

  • I live at 10 Grand Parade right next door to Pierre’s Cafe and it’s a cool place to have so close. I’d recommend it!

  • I agree: good food, friendly people! But they don’t open early enough in the morning!
