Easter activity 1957

This photograph was taken at Easter 1957.

It shows an Easter activity at Woodingdean Primary School, decorating a hula-hoop. I am kneeling on the right of the trio.

I wonder if I won a prize?

  • I too was in the same year as David who is on the right. The boy on the left looks very much like Barry Daniels who lived close by Dave in Sandhurst Avenue – as I did. Quite shocking to revisit images from childhood as a pensioner! Happy days.

  • Hi Keith, glad to see you’re still around. I remember you very well  living near us in Sandhurst Avenue. Whereabouts are you now? I think you’re right about the Daniels boy. They lived just down the road.
