Does anyone know anything about the Wigney family who came to Brighton at the end of the 18th Century? Brighton’s first member of parliament was Isaac Newton Wigney. When his bank(Wigney’s Bank) went bancrupt in 1842, he resigned from parliament. Are there any Wigney’s left in Bighton?
