133 London Road by Carol Hardy 17 May 2010When my great grandfather was married in 1876 his addres was 133 London Road – what is this address today please4 replies Re: 133 London Road by Roy Grant 17 May 2010Almost all of the residences in London Road lost their front gardens and became shops. Andy will probably be able to be more precise (especially as Brighton occasionally renumbered properties) all I have is a 1970 directory which places it as a small shop next to the CO-OP. Re: 133 London Road by Dan 17 May 2010Its now a Funeral Parlour run by the Coop. Re: 133 London Road by Andy Grant 18 May 2010Hi Carol, At the time you mention, 133, London Road was a Tobacconist’s shop run by a Mrs. Mary Ann Sayers. In the 1871 census they were recorded as having in-laws living with them, but if these were not your relatives it is possible that they may have subsequently rented accommodation there.Regards Andy Re: 133 London Road by Carol Hardy 19 May 2010Many thanks Add your replyHiddenAdd your title Add your wordsWould you like to add some images (optional)?
