I am helping my local scout group to celebrate its 100 years of scouting and was hoping to find some bits of history from its time in the last 100 years as well as some old members with some great memories of their time with us? The 14TH HOVE SCOUT GROUP over the years has been know as the 6TH BRIGHTON GROUP (1914-1916), 13TH HOVE (1929-1936) and 5TH HOVE GROUP (1936-1949). Although our headquarters have changed over the years we have always had a connection to ST ANDREWS CHURCH in CHURCH STREET, PORTSLADE. Any help with the History of this scout group would be very much appreciated as we are hoping to invite former members along to our celebrations in September.
