I am trying to trace what happened to a lady who lived in Springfield Road in 1893- bit of a longshot, I know!
The family were called NEWMAN and they lived at No 85. Robert John Newman and Rosalie Edith Margherita Newman, nee Smith. They had two sons, the eldest being born at No 85 in 1893. Rosalie vanished from the family’s life sometime around 1911, but no one knows what happened to her. She sent a parcel, posted in Australia around 1914/15 – but she may have got some one else to post it! Any ideas would be very much appreciated……
