I am sorry once again to have to remind users of this message board of its purposes. It is for the sharing of local and family history resources and discussion of issues relevant to these topics. The recent thread I deleted concerned MP expenses and was clearly outside the remit of this forum. I would point out that not only are postings like these not relevant to this forum, but they also generate legitimate complaints to the website team (as they have today) from other board users. In the past we have deleted errant posts and then explained our reasons for doing so. But – as we are all volunteers and have limited time at our disposal, in future they will be just deleted and this message will be referred to for reference. I do hope that everyone will be able to continue enjoy and benefit from this wonderful resource – as it was intended.
